Build a printable hunt for your habitat, season and age group.
Build a gentle observation hunt for your next outing. Look, listen and photograph; leave plants, nests and wildlife undisturbed. Never taste unidentified plants or fungi.
Adapt any prompt to your location using its text box. The season is a planning cue, not a prediction: local climate and hemisphere change what you will see.
Instructions
- Choose Habitat, Season and Challenge level for your group.
- Enter a Hunt seed, then select Generate hunt. Keep the same settings and seed to reuse a list.
- Edit the prompt text boxes to suit your route, then use Print hunt or Download text.
Understanding your results
Treat the hunt as a reason to look more closely. A winter woodland list may suggest something you can hear as well as something you can see. Tick discoveries as you go; finding every item is optional.
What to do if a prompt does not suit your location
Edit that prompt or select New seed for another list. Season does not know your hemisphere or local conditions. Keep the activity to observation and leave what you find in place.

Summary
A short, adaptable list can turn an ordinary walk into a nature activity for your group.
